Befudiom takes players on a ride through the world of idioms – those quirky phrases and slang terminology whose meanings cannot be understood when taken literally. Players divide into teams and designate one clue-giver for each round, who picks a card from a stack and rolls the dice. The number on the number die tells the players how to give the clue: act it out, explain it without using any of the words in the phrase, draw it or spell it using blanks drawn on paper and letter clues. The clue-giver has 60 seconds to help his teammates guess the idiom. If the performing team hasn’t correctly guessed the phrase by that time, the other teams get one chance to guess; the team to shout out the correct phrase first wins the round. The first team to reach the determined final score wins.
